WANT TO BUILD AN M1 GARAND FROM PARTS?

The Civilian Marksmanship Program, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching safe and acurate marksmanship, provides a number of great courses in firearms safety, and maintenance. This particular course, taught at the CMP Custom Shop, in Anniston, Alabama, by their resident gunsmiths, teaches advanced maitenance techniques for the storied US Rifle, Caliber .30, M1. Attendees build their own M1 from parts (the stock and barrel are new production, but all other parts are servicesble original parts) learn the design and proper function of the rifle, and take the rifle they build home. I highly recommend this course for anyone who has an interest in this famous US service rifle!

The lottery registration for the CMP's popular Advanced Maintenance Class is NOW OPEN. Visit https://ct.thecmp.org/app/v1/index.php?do=match&task=edit&match=16179 for more details and to register for the random lottery drawing. Registration will remain open until December 2nd.

Details on upcoming 2018 classes may be viewed at  http://thecmp.org/training-tech/advanced-maintenance-class/.
