EFFECTIVE 9/1/2025: I will only be offering the professional level cleaning service.
When I started out as a gunsmith almost 10 years ago, one of the best ways to gain exposure and familiarity with the many makes and models of pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shotguns out there, was to offer cleaning services. For years, I've offered 2 levels of cleaning service:
Basic - cleaning the firearm as recommended by the manufacturer in the owner's manual for $60 per firearm.
Professional - complete disassembly to parts level, ultrasonic cleaning, and reassembly for $90 per firearm.
My workload has now reached the point where doing basic cleaning services that, by all rights, is a basic firearm owner responsibility, is no longer sustainable. So,
